Service Scheduler, Service Coordinator

We are seeking an energetic Customer Service Scheduler who is passionate about quality and keen to learn and contribute in a positive, high-performing team environment.

Position Summary:

Responsible for working with AMC customers and certified AMC Technicians to quote and schedule service calls (site visits), ensure that the service technicians are aware of the site details (equipment requiring service, and necessary supplies and spares required to complete the work), and that service technicians’ schedules are efficiently laid out.

Your responsibilities will also include

  • Business communications and correspondence
  • Working with Microsoft computer applications and Custom Scheduling Software
  • Office management adherence to administrative procedures.

Applicants must have very strong interpersonal skills.  Because this position involves interaction with many people and deals with multiple tasks concurrently, multitasking, communication and organizational skills are essential.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers to schedule preventative maintenance service appointments.
  • Offer Service Agreements to new and existing customers.
  • Verify and update customer information in our service software on an ongoing basis.
  • Record and track service appointments for customers and technicians.
  • Assign service appointments to technicians and identify or order any parts or specialty equipment that that may be required.
  • Obtain customer purchase order numbers and credit card numbers.
  • Respond to customer service inquiries.
  • Perform general clerical duties such as record maintenance.
  • Provide quotations for regular maintenance/service.
  • Provide quotations for replacement equipment as required.
  • Perform follow up calls to retrieve purchase orders for completed work.
  • Prepare paperwork for invoicing
  • Provide detailed analytical reports as required
  • Provide backup assistance to the Scheduling Team Lead on an as needed basis

Essential Job Requirements:

  • Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, customer service experience, business oriented
  • Bilingual (English and French) is considered a strong asset

Working Conditions:

Minimum 40.0 working hours per week – may require extra hours during month end and quarterly reporting periods.

Candidates may work at home, but the preference is to work from the office at least some of the time
